Many of us don't know who our representatives are.
Fortunately, it's easy to find out.
Here are some helpful websites you can use to find your representatives:
- USA.gov - Find and contact elected officials
Very complete - shows federal, state, and local officials. - Congress.gov - Find Your Members
Shows just three people - your two senators and your member of the House of Representatives. Good if the longer list above is overwhelming. Official government website. - Ballotopedia - Who Represents Me?
Pretty complete - includes federal and state legislators and most offices that were on your state ballot in the latest election. Non-profit organization website.
Once you've found your people, go ahead and copy their names, phone numbers, and websites into your spreadsheet (and add them to your contacts in your phone!).
